Herculine's 1000 Names is a short playlet, an absurdist look at gender and identity.

The Big Winner is in love with a cyborg named Herculine. Through their love affair The Big Winner discovers, much to her judges dismay, that she may also be a compilation of many parts.

Luisa Jojic

Luisa jojic is a performer who works on stage, screen, television, and in installation, performance art and multi-media contexts.

She has collaborated with numerous artists with a focus on developing original Canadian theatrical work. She has worked with The Vancouver Playhouse, Vancouver Opera, The Arts Club, Bard on the Beach, The Richmond Gateway Theatre, Theatre Northwest, Blackbird Theatre, Savage God, UpIntheAir, The Playwright’s Theatre Centre, Theatre Terrific, Real Wheels, Pound of Flesh, and has twice toured the Canadian national Fringe circuit with original work by the Company Laughing Day Productions.

Most recent screen credits include ABC’s Reaper, Fox Network’s Ace of Hearts and the local independent features Love and Other Dilemmas, Mud Pies and The Familiar.  

She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s BFA acting program, in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
