Kristopher Monroe

Kristopher Monroe just finished a successful run of Twelfth Night at Theater Ten Ten in the role of Sebastian.  He has had leading roles in Ruddigore and The Singapore Mikado (which was nominated for a New York Innovative Theatre Award.)  He originated the role of "Fak" in the world premiere of Bernard-Marie Koltes' West Pier at SoHo Think Tank and went on to star in Relatively Theaters production of Dis-Connections off Broadway.

A regular in the cabaret scene, he has performed at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Duplex, The Metropolitan Room and Don't Tell Mama where his first solo show What Took You So Long? was nominated for a MAC Award as "Outstanding Male Debut.

"Career highlights include singing for the American Theatre Wing's 2007 Spring Gala honoring Carol Channing, James Earl Jones and Tommy Tune; and earlier this year he was part of the Broadway Chorus for Stephen Sondheim's 80th Birthday Celebration at Avery Fisher Hall.

He is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and holds a BFA in Musical Theater from The New School.  www.kristophermonroe.com
